Sooke School District

Der Schulbezirk Sooke liegt im Süden von Vancouver Island und umfasst mehrere Gemeinden westlich von Victoria. Die drei Secondary Schools des Bezirks befinden sich in Langford, Colwood und Sooke. Langford und Colwood liegen etwa 20–25 Minuten von der Innenstadt Victorias entfernt, vom ländlicher gelegenen Sooke aus dauert es ca. 50 Minuten.

Die Südspitze Vancouver Islands zeichnet sich durch ein besonders mildes Klima, viele Sonnenstunden und wunderschöne Meerblicke aus. Die Nähe zu Victoria ermöglicht es Schüler*innen die Vorteile einer größeren Stadt zu nutzen und gleichzeitig von der wunderschönen Landschaft Vancouver Islands zu profitieren. Aktivitäten wie Schwimmen, Reiten, Golf spielen, Wandern, Radfahren, Joggen oder Kayakfahren sind bei den Bewohner*innen der Region sehr beliebt.
