Langley School District

Nur 45 Kilometer östlich von Vancouver, zwischen dem Fraser River und der Grenze zu den USA, liegt die Gemeinde Langley (ca. 105.000 Einwohner*innen in der Metropolregion). Es handelt sich um einen sicheren, ruhigen Vorort von Vancouver mit angenehmer und freundlicher Atmosphäre, der alle Annehmlichkeiten einer mittelgroßen Stadt, aber durch seine vielen Parks und Grünflächen auch einen hohen Erholungswert bietet.

Schüler*innen können aus sieben Secondary Schools wählen, die hervorragend ausgestattet sind. Sie liegen in der Stadt oder am Stadtrand von Langley und bieten ein großes Angebot an Haupt- und Wahlfächern sowie Aktivitäten außerhalb des Lehrplans. Eine besondere Schule dieses Bezirks ist die Langley Fine Arts School, die sich an künstlerisch interessierte Schüler*innen richtet. Drei Schulen bieten ein French Immersion Programm an.
